The Programme Delivery Manager for Planning Solutions is responsible for owning the operational delivery infrastructure across the portfolio - ensuring the team has a single source of truth, cross-workstream dependencies are visible, milestones are tracked, and status is available without manual assembly.

The Programme Delivery Manager for Planning Solutions is responsible for owning the operational delivery infrastructure across the portfolio - ensuring the team has a single source of truth, cross-workstream dependencies are visible, milestones are tracked, and status is available without manual assembly.
What You'll Do
- Single Source of Truth Ownership - Maintain one authoritative view of what is complete, in progress, at risk, and upcoming across all Planning Solutions workstreams; ensure it is current at all times and is the primary reference across the portfolio.
- Jira and Confluence Ownership - Own the Jira project structure across Planning Solutions - epic hierarchy, sprint setup, field configuration, dependency tracking, and ongoing maintenance. Own the Confluence space - structure, documentation standards, and content governance. Not just a user of these tools; the architect of how Planning Solutions uses them.
- Dependency Tracking and Blocker Management - Map and monitor cross-workstream and cross-programme dependencies; maintain visibility of what is blocking what; flag risks before they become release blockers; escalate with clarity and evidence.
- Milestone and Release Tracking - Own the portfolio-level timeline across all active programmes and releases; ensure milestones are visible, current, and connected to workstream-level epics beneath them.
- Weekly Programme Status - Prepare materials and inputs for the weekly cross-workstream status meeting; attend and own follow-up; ensure actions are tracked and closed.
- Cross-Functional Coverage - Ensure GTM, research, data operations, and commercial workstreams are tracked alongside engineering delivery - not managed separately or invisibly.
- Release Planning and Testing Coordination - Coordinate release planning across workstreams and programmes, track acceptance criteria and testing progress, and ensure QA and sign-off activities are visible and on schedule alongside delivery work.
- Executive Status Reporting - Produce regular status for senior leadership; no manual PowerPoint assembly; one view, always readable.
- Epic Governance - The standards enforcer across the portfolio - outcome-oriented titles, testable Definition of Done, named owners, explicit dependencies. Actively chases workstream leads for compliance; does not wait to be asked and does not let gaps slide regardless of who owns the work.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience - 6+ years in delivery management or programme operations in a software product company, with a track record of running cross-functional programmes through major release cycles. SaaS or data product background strongly preferred. Experience managing across multiple concurrent programmes or products is highly desirable.
- AI and automation tooling - Uses AI tools (e.g. Copilot, AI-assisted documentation, automated reporting) to reduce manual overhead in status reporting, backlog maintenance, and documentation - not as a novelty but as a standard part of how the work gets done. Also, Jira and Confluence expertise - Demonstrated experience building and maintaining Jira project structures from scratch - project configuration, field setup, epic hierarchy design, dependency tracking
- Cross-functional programme management - Experience owning programme status across engineering, product, and non-engineering functions (GTM, research, operations). Has prepared programme materials and chased owners - not just reported into a process someone else built.
- Stakeholder influence - Comfortable challenging senior technical and product stakeholders directly on standards, definitions, and status - without needing to escalate through a management chain. Diplomatically persistent.
- Europe-based or European hours availability - Must overlap with UK/European business hours; core team is UK/European.
