Role Summary
The SAP Concur Travel & Expense Administrator owns the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and supports Mobility Global SAP Concur platform. This role ensures that travel booking, expense reporting, and reimbursement processes run smoothly, stay compliant with company policy, and deliver a positive experience for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the SAP Concur Travel, Expense modules, including policies, expense types, approval workflows, and audit rules.
- Manage user profiles, roles, delegates, and permissions, ensuring accurate onboarding and offboarding in coordination with HR.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Concur support, resolving end-user issues and escalating to SAP Concur as needed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations with ERP, HR, and corporate card feeds to ensure data accuracy and timely processing.
- Implement and maintainAPIs, middleware, and batch jobsto move data reliably (near real-time and scheduled).
- Ensuredata quality: mapping, transformations, currency/tax handling, cost objects (cost centers, projects) and compliance fields.
- Identify opportunities to streamline T&E processes, improve compliance, and enhance the user experience.
- Create training materials and guides and deliver training to employees and approvers.
- Maintain system documentation and support internal and external audit requests.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years Hands-on administration experience of SAP Concur Travel & Expense, including configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end expense processes (policy, approvals, audit, reimbursement, corporate cards) and the associated finance controls.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system changes, assess impact, and produce clear user communications.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and trend identification.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and reporting; comfortable handling and interpreting operational data.
- Experience with Concur integrations (e.g., HR feeds, card feeds, finance/ERP posting).
- Experience of VAT/tax configuration, and/or global/multi-country rollouts.
- Experience building and supporting integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven solutions, particularly across SaaS platforms.
- Enterprise Integration Knowledge:
Familiarity with common integration patterns including ETL, file-based interfaces (SFTP), and iPaaS solutions, along with best practices like error handling and retry logic. - Security & Access:
Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth2, SAML, and Single Sign-On (SSO). - Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise finance concepts:GL posting, cost accounting, VAT/GST, multi-currency, and reimbursement cycles.
- iPaaS/middleware experience (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Azure Integration Services, AWS integration tooling).
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) including serverless and containerized workloads.
- Observability tooling experience (APM, centralized logging, metrics, tracing).
- Experience working in regulated environments (SOX, GDPR, PCI considerations for travel/card data).
